The Organization 

For one of our clients, a leading international provider of intralogistics solutions, material handling equipment, warehouse automation and related services, we are searching for a Senior Manager Inside Sales to further develop the internal commercial organization in the Netherlands. 

The Dutch organization is a profitable and well-established sales and service business with ambitious growth plans towards 2030. To support the next phase of development, the company is creating a new Senior Manager Inside Sales position, bringing the different internal sales teams together under one leadership structure and further strengthening collaboration, process efficiency and digitalization. 

The Role 

As Senior Manager Inside Sales, you will lead and further develop the internal sales organization and ensure that it provides a strong, proactive and efficient commercial backbone to the wider Sales organization. 

A key objective is to enable the field sales teams to spend more time with customers by strengthening the supporting commercial and administrative processes. At the same time, the new leadership structure will allow the Director Sales to reduce his span of control and focus more strongly on strategy execution and key accounts. 

You will bring the different internal sales teams closer together, create clear ownership and improve end-to-end collaboration across areas such as customer data, calculations, quotations, sales support and order preparation. 

In addition, you will drive process improvement and digitalization, making better use of existing systems, data and digital tools while preparing the organization for future developments. The role requires close collaboration with Outside Sales, Key Account Management, Marketing, Order Realization and international Group functions. 

The Ideal Candidate 

Experiences 

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in Inside Sales, Sales Operations or a comparable commercial B2B environment, including at least 3 years of people leadership experience.  
• Strong understanding of commercial and administrative sales processes, including quotations, calculations, customer data, sales support and order preparation.  
• Proven experience in leading and developing teams and creating stronger ownership, accountability and collaboration.  
• Experience improving commercial processes and using systems, data and digital tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.  
• Ability to combine commercial understanding with a strong operational and administrative backbone, ideally in an organization with a sizeable field sales force.  
• Experience working cross-functionally and collaborating with central or international functions.  
• Experience in an operationally complex B2B environment; experience in logistics, intralogistics or industrial equipment is considered an advantage. 
• Exposure to ERP, CRM or broader systems transformation is considered an advantage.

Language Requirements 

• Fluency in Dutch and English.  
• German language skills are considered an advantage.
